Masha Ruzova — Creative/Art Director

Currently based in Rome, Masha Ruzova is a multidisciplinary Art Director with over 12 years of experience creating concept-driven visual work across Europe. Her focus lies in developing creative strategies and compelling brand experiences for events, campaigns, and exhibitions—bridging concept, design, and execution with a clear narrative voice.

Masha holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Design from Stroganov Academy of Industrial and Applied Arts and recently completed a course in Creative Direction at the University of the Arts London, further strengthening her strategic and visual storytelling approach.

She began her career at BBDO Group, contributing to immersive brand experiences, and later served as Acting Art Director at Brand Garden in Moscow. After relocating to Italy, she joined Più Athena in Rome and worked as a freelance designer for Maison Rivière in Bordeaux. Since 2018, she has led creative development at Filmmaster Events, where she designs large-scale corporate and cultural events for international audiences.

Her portfolio includes work for clients such as Netflix, Save the Children, Eni, Volkswagen, Bayer, Marcolin, Rolf Benz, Costa Esmeralda, Brother, Leffe, Tennent’s, Mexx, Beeline, and Silver Rain Radio. She has played a central role in developing successful tender-winning proposals for high-profile public and private sector projects across Europe.

Alongside her professional work, Masha has taught courses in Expo Design at Moscow State University of Design and Technology and Event Decoration at the British Higher School of Art & Design in Moscow, reflecting her commitment to creative education and mentoring.

Her contributions to public and experiential design have been recognized with four cultural grants from the Ministry of Culture for projects including The Long Night of Museums at the Moscow Shchusev Museum of Architecture and the conceptual installation Ecorest. In 2015, she represented Russia at the International Forum Design Friendly Cities in Curitiba, Brazil.
